Baked Chicken Alfredo

Ingredients
700g COOKED PENNE
60g BUTTER
4 CLOVES OF GARLIC
2 TABLESPOONS OF PLAIN FLOUR
250mL WATER
250mL MILK
250mL COOKING CREAM
2 TABLESPOONS OF VEGETA GOURMET
1 TEASPOON OF OREGANO
1 TEASPOON OF THYME
1/4 TEASPOON OF WHITE PEPPER
50g GRATED PARMESAN
300g GRATED MOZZARELLA
280 g COOKED/ROASTED CHICKEN, CHOPPED OR PULLED
1 TEASPOON OF FRESH PARSLEY, FINELY CHOPPED

PREHEAT OVEN TO 190°C. GREASE A 23x23 CM BAKING DISH (OR SIMILAR SIZE).

MELT BUTTER IN A LARGE PAN. ADD GARLIC AND FRY FOR 30 SECONDS UNTIL FRAGRANT. STIR IN FLOUR AND FRY BRIEFLY UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN.

MIX TOGETHER WATER, MILK, COOKING CREAM AND VEGETA GOURMET, AND GENTLY POUR INTO PAN, STIRRING CONSTANTLY UNTIL THE SAUCE THICKENS, ADD IN OREGANO, THYME AND WHITE PEPPER. STIR IN GRATED PARMESAN AND 200G MOZARELLA AND STIR UNTIL THE CHEESE IS MELTED.

ADD COOKED PASTA AND CHICKEN INTO A LARGE DISH. POUR IN SAUCE AND MIX WELL. TRANSFER PASTA MIXTURE TO THE PREPARED BAKING DISH AND SPRINKLE WITH THE REMAINING MOZZARELLA.
BAKE UNCOVERED FOR ABOUT 20 MINUTES UNTIL GOLDEN. SPRINKLE WITH PARSLEY, SERVE AND ENJOY!
